NEW ROOM

After such a long time of being out of my room because of mold and water stains in the drywall the information to repair the room finally came to me. I bleached the walls several times then dried them out. The smell was still there.

Then applied Kilz2 latez primer but it did not do a good job on the odor but it is Mold and Mildew resistant.  Finally applied a coat of BIN Shellac primer.  The stuff is awesome the rooms smells brand new.

BIN PRIMER seals odors and dries quick.  The smell of alchohol was gone in two hours and the room is ready to be painted.

Red on Black

I think food makes an excellent subject for photography. It's colorful yet it doesn't complain about having to be still for very long.

Pan a la Catalan...Tomato Bread with Oregano and Basil

I had Pan a la Catalan when I visited my aunt in Mallorca, the little island off the coast of Spain. It's what Crete and Sicilly are the Greece and Italy.
Well we had lunch at my aunt's apartment and she came out with long slice of bread with tomato that was incredible. It's one of those things you just don't for get. To this day I am always trying to recreate that experience. My current recipe is toasted italian bread with a little Duke's Mayo a razor thin slice of red onion, two slices of beef steak tomatoes and add some oregano and sweet basil and salt. Taste...HEAVEN

Spicey Braised Goat in Lamb broth

Here's my second attempt a cooking goat. I would say this time it came out incredible. I cooked the goat in a lamb stock.  The taste is right on.

I find lamb and goat  great for stews as beef fat tends to be very rich; but Beef does make for better steaks.
